These are oil paintings on canvas, 50x50x2cm dated 2009.

I started from a true reportage photo which was censored by the mass media and all social networks. Apart from the reporting aspect and the symbolic one of purity, which today is thrown away and forgotten amongst ruins, this series of paintings are titled 'Reality Show’. My main intention is a reflection focused on the use of mass media, the fading border between reality and fiction, but mostly on how aesthetics strongly influence ethics and our decision-making process.

I've created these paintings mixing real images with unreal images, this series of 4 works includes: 2 real fact happened and censored by mass media, a still frame from a video game, a still frame from a documentary, all mixed together. What is real?
